Private Training

We offer hourly private training sessions at $85.00 or a discounted rate in our 3 available packages:

• 3 private sessions $245.00 ($10 savings)

Group Classes

Paws in Motion is our foundation obedience class designed for all dog training goals. From Canine Good Citizen testing, service and therapy dog work, protection training, puppy kindergarten, or just to have a well behaved family pet….this is the class for you!

Paws in Motion focuses on real world distractions and takes advantage of different locations to “proof” your dog’s training. Class will rotate locations throughout the Sacramento area will focusing on training the dogs to walk politely on leash, sit, stay, down, come, greet politely, and handle all types of distractions.

This class is available to dogs who have completed their vaccinations and are people/dog friendly or indifferent (dogs with aggression issues are welcome in our other training programs).

Schedule/Cost: Paws in Motion takes place every Sunday 11am-12pm. Drop in cost is $30 per session or purchase 6 sessions for $150. Email us to sign up!

Advanced Obedience Class:

Does your dog know the basics and you are ready to work on your dog becoming a therapy dog, service dog, trained guard dog, or to start competitive obedience? Than this class is for you! We will be working on harder distractions, longer stays, getting off leash, heeling, building focus and drive, and introducing the dogs to complex scenarios like escalators, crowds, new dogs and more!

Schedule/Cost:

Advanced obedience class runs every Sunday from 12:15-1:15pm and locations vary. Cost is $30 per drop in session or $150 for 6 sessions. Email to sign up or with questions: puppylovedogtrainer@yahoo.com

Trick and Agility Class

Does your energetic dog need a fun class? Or maybe your shy dog needs to boost their confidence? Trick and agility class is an all fun for fun course that covers learning how to navigate in and around obstacles and participate in fun tricks!

Class takes place every Wed 6:30-7:30pm and Sat 10-11am in April 2013. Location is at Tug Dog Acres in Elverta. Cost is $175 and pre-registration is required.

Do you have a dog that is nervous in new situations? Shy when meeting new people? Needs a confidence boost? This is the workshop for you! We will be working on teaching your dog a positive association with meeting new people, teaching owners to better understand their dog behavior and read their body language, and be practicing confidence building exercises that will help bring your dog out of his or her shell. This workshop is designed to give you the techniques to put in place so when it’s over you can still be working on your dog’s shyness.

Free Rally Meetup

Are you interested in a fun dog sport that will allow you to work on your dog’s obedience and your overall relationship while having a good time? Rally may be for you! This meetup with provide more info about what rally is, give you a demonstration, and give you the opportunity to ask the trainer questions. We will be hosting a spring rally class for those that decide they like it!

Please email us if you plan on attending. This is a people only meetup, though dogs are welcome to come out after we are done.

Doggy Boot camp Package: 4 week intensive program for $1450

Whether your dog has behavioral issues (fear/aggression), is out of control on leash, potties in the house, won’t follow commands, or has other training needs, we’re here to help! For 4 weeks your dog will live with Puppy Love Dog’s skilled trainers and receive multiple daily training sessions along with extensive exercise and socialization. When you come to pick up your dog, you’ll receive custom take home (written) instructions along with a private training session and FREE inclusion in our group classes to get even more practice. This board and train program is suitable for all dogs at least 4 months of age.

Puppy Foundation: 2 week beginner’s course $750

Training your puppy is important in preventing problem behaviors like fear, aggression, and destructive bad habits. Our puppy foundation training incorporates positive socialization with people, environments, and dogs, potty training, polite greeting behavior, introduction to the leash, following lures, learning obedience positions, and stopping common problem behaviors like nipping, barking, and chewing. The puppy foundation package is available to dogs up until 6 months of age.

Potty Training (Only): 3 week program $850

Designed to teach your dog to go potty outside, our potty training board and train is suitable for dogs of all ages. We will crate or kennel train your pup in a positive fashion and teach him or her a potty cue with lots of reward for going outside. In addition to receiving potty training all day long during their stay, your dog will get social and exercise time in one of our fun doggy play groups.
